Masters Day Off - 27 June 2010
Following their performance in Glasgow, the Executive Committee unanimously decided to allow the RSC Masters to have an extra day rest this coming Sunday in order to allow them to recover fully form their excellent swims.
There are rumours that the actual reason for this unprecedented decision is a sports game of apparently national importance. The game in question is played with a round bouncy object and played on turf soil, a bit like waterpolo on grass, some would say. The opponents of the English national team are a Germanic tribe and there is some history of fierce rivalry.
The RSC headcoach has been overheard in threatening to force all Masters to swim their next session in the kits of this Germanic tribe, if the Masters do not show their support for their national team (or just if the national team loose this battle).
